Clinical Nurse Specialist—Oncology
(CNMII Grade)
Part Time - Permanent Contract - 30 hrs
Requirements:
- Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration (essential)
- Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing (essential)
- Masters (MSc) in Oncology Nursing (desirable)
- 3yrs experience in the specialist area of medical oncology (essential)
- Have proven clinical and professional ability
- Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
- Have excellent communication & leadership skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
- Be enthusiastic and highly motivated.
- Have a proven ability to work under pressure
- Have evidence of commitment to professional development.
- Have an ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
