Job Description:
ChemPoint Ireland Ltd is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to support B2B clients in the chemical and industrial sectors, using a consultative, solution-focused sales approach. The role involves working with technically complex product portfolios and requires strong commercial and technical communication skills.
The position is based in-office and will involve extensive communication by phone, email, and CRM systems to deliver tailored product offerings. This is a non-supervisory role, but with significant decision-making responsibility regarding quotations, customer segmentation, and technical product positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage long-term relationships with B2B customers in the chemical and industrial sectors
Provide product advice and technical recommendations aligned with client needs and industry regulations
Evaluate customer opportunities and negotiate pricing within company guidelines
Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain a high standard of service
Collaborate with internal departments including marketing, supply chain, and technical teams
Maintain accurate CRM records and report insights for sales strategy development
Required Qualifications & Experience:
A third-level degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or a related discipline
At least 4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development involving technical or regulated products
Proven ability to understand industrial processes and match customer needs with product solutions
Excellent communication, consultative selling and negotiation skills.
