Salary: €35,000 per annum.
Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
We are currently seeking a motivated and commercially driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team in the renewable energy sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative clean energy projects and to support the company’s expansion into new markets across Ireland and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients within the renewable energy industry (e.g., solar, wind, energy storage).Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share.
Generate and qualify leads, initiate client contact, and follow through on commercial proposals.
Assist in preparing commercial tenders, pricing proposals, and bid documentation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the energy sector.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Work closely with the technical, project, and legal teams to ensure alignment between commercial and operational goals.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics for management review.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Administration, or a related field (required).Prior experience or strong interest in the renewable energy or cleantech industry is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and market research abilities.
Commercially driven with a proactive and strategic mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
