Duties include operating chainsaws and woodchippers, tree felling and pruning, processing timber, site clearance, and supporting safe line clearance operations around live utility infrastructure. The role involves working outdoors, at height, and as part of a crew while following strict Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work when operating near overhead power lines.
A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in vegetation clearance, forestry, arboriculture, or utility line clearance is required. Experience working near overhead lines or utility infrastructure and knowledge of safe linework practices is desirable.Suitable references or proof of experience are essential. Candidates must be physically fit, safety conscious, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
