Site Lead – Data Centre (Contract)
This role will support the installation of reciprocating gas engines serving a major data centre project in West Dublin. The project is already in progress, with completion scheduled for March 2026. A locally based candidate is preferred.

The Site Lead will act as the key representative on-site, working alongside one other colleague and supported by weekly visits from the Project Manager and discipline engineers (Electrical, C&I). The role requires strong technical oversight, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to ensure safety, quality, and programme adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily site supervision and coordination of contractor activities.Provide independent technical oversight of works, engaging positively with contractors in a collaborative manner.
Review and provide feedback on technical procedures, RAMS, and contractor documentation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and environmental standards, escalating issues where necessary.
Identify, highlight, and document any shortfalls in works against requirements and support recovery planning.
Maintain accurate daily site records, including activities, progress, issues, and conditions.
Initiate and lead site meetings/inspections with contractors and clients, compiling accurate minutes and records.
Support timely responses to technical queries in collaboration with off-site engineering teams.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a Site Lead / Site Manager role within a regulated industry (data centres, energy, utilities, or industrial projects preferred).Strong knowledge of regulatory safety and environmental requirements with appropriate qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, or recognised Irish equivalent).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with both on-site and off-site project teams.
