Tax Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to support the Tax Director. You'll be the go-to expert on Irish taxation, acting as a strategic partner across the business, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and proactive tax planning.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead tax business partner across Irish operations, offering strategic advice on all tax matters.
• Prepare and oversee corporate income tax, VAT, and Carbon Tax returns with support from external advisers.
• Manage and ensure compliance of local transfer pricing documentation and support global transfer pricing efforts.
• Lead self-reviews under the Co-operative Compliance Framework and maintain a robust tax control and risk governance framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement continuous process improvements in tax processes and systems.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with Revenue Ireland and external advisers.
• Monitor and implement budget and legislative changes affecting the Irish tax landscape.
• Provide training and support to ensure tax compliance across Irish entities.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5-10 years of tax management experience, preferably in a multinational or energy-related sector
• Professional tax qualification (CTA, ACCA, ACA) preferred
• Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Irish taxation, including transfer pricing and international tax.
• Proven ability to operate as a trusted tax business partner across diverse functions.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
