Civils - Structural Design Engineer - Cork - Kerry

Our client, a Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy firm, have been operating in the Irish industry for 15 years. They specialise in large scale Pharma, Indistrial and Commercial projects. They require a Design Engineer to join their team in Cork City or Killarney.Role: Civils /Structural Design EngineerLocation: Cork or Killarney office (Hybrid model with 3 days WFH)Salary: €45-65k DOE plus packageResponsibilities:

• Produce engineering design calculations, specifications, and construction drawings & schedules.
• Attend on-site, client and project meetings.
• Communicate and liaise with colleagues, architects, consultants, local authorities, and clients.
• Carry out site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
• Compile all project compliance documentation.

Requirements:

• Construction Management or relevant Engineering Degree.
• 2-5 years' post graduate experience with a design consultancy working on pharma,industrial or commercial developments or related projects.
• Structural design experience for buildings projects (Masonry, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete, Timber).
• Knowledge of relevant design standards (EUROCODE)
• Familiar with Irish Health & Safety (Construction) Regulations.
• Familiar with Irish Building Regulations and Building Control Amendment Regulations
