Practice Accountant – 3-Month FTC (Fully Remote)

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Practice Accountant to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility of extension. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote working and the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Salary: €50,000 per annum (pro rata)
Contract: 3-Month Fixed Term Contract, with potential for extension

Location: Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting services and advice.
Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in line with relevant accounting standards.
Complete corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, and VAT returns.
Provide guidance on compliance, tax planning, and business performance improvement.
Liaise directly with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
Support junior team members with technical queries when required.

Ensure all work is completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice.
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation tax, and personal tax.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a remote setting.

Must be based in Ireland and fully eligible to work in Ireland.
