IT Business Analyst - Corporate Functions

We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Business Analyst to join a growing Corporate Functions IT team supporting Finance and HR systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering business transformation initiatives across multiple projects. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams - helping to design, document, and implement solutions that drive efficiency, automation, and value across corporate functions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical and communication skills with a solid understanding of IT delivery, data flows, and enterprise systems in a complex organisation.

What You'll Do
  • Lead requirements gathering and process analysis for multiple Finance and HR technology initiatives.
  • Develop business process models, data-flow diagrams, and impact analyses to support system design.
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
  • Work with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Solution Architects to prioritise and deliver against roadmaps.
  • Manage dependencies, traceability, and change control across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure seamless deployment into production.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and hybrid delivery teams to ensure quality and alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities to optimise.

About You

You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives on solving problems and turning complexity into clarity. You enjoy engaging with both technical and non-technical teams and can communicate insights effectively across all levels of the business.

What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, including 2-3 years in a Business Analyst or delivery-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project delivery.
  • Proven ability to capture, analyse, and communicate business and technical requirements.
  • Experience with Finance and/or HR systems or other enterprise platforms.
  • Skilled in working with third-party vendors and hybrid teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or DevOps methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience in digital transformation or change management.
  • Project Management or Agile certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum).
  • Strong interest in data-driven process improvement.
