Job Description

Duties

This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Reception Duties: Greet visitors and parishioners warmly and professionally.

Answer phone calls and provide information or direct inquiries to appropriate staff members.

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence.

Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative duties, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.

Maintain accurate records of centre activities, finances, and membership.

Prepare reports and presentations as needed.

Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of centre events, including meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.

Book venues, arrange catering, and manage guest lists.

Oversee event logistics, such as seating arrangements, audio-visual equipment, and signage.

Fundraising and Marketing: Support fundraising initiatives by assisting with promotional materials, donor databases, and event coordination.

Maintain the church's social media presence and website.

Create and distribute marketing materials, such as newsletters and flyers.

Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parishioners and community members.

Represent the church at community events and meetings.
