Forklift Driver/Warehouse Assistant
Nationally recognised supplier who pride themselves on a commitment to safety are on the lookout for an experienced Forklift driver/Warehouse who holds both Reach Truck and Counterbalance licenses. This role offers an immediate start for the right candidate with Monday to Friday daytime hours, weekly pay, and an opportunity to join one of Irelands leading companies within their sector.
Your main responsibilities will include operating the reach truck to pick products from high level locations, load & unload products while operating the counterbalance and assisting the Goods in department to receive stock and ensuring accurate receipt of goods.
As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse assistant you will also be expected to complete the necessary requirements to ensure all forklifts are maintained while reporting any faults to management. Health and Safety procedures are set out by the company so following all policies are a key aspect of the role to which you must adhere.
Responsibilities:
- Operating Counterbalance to load, and unload goods.
- Picking customers’ orders and completing replenishing stock while using the Reach Truck.
- Using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory software as required.
- Assisting the goods in department to receive stock ensure accurate quantities.
- Ensuring yard and warehouse is kept to an expected standard of cleanliness.
- Assist in general warehouse duties when required which include stock takes and cycle counts.
Requirements:
- In date Counterbalance Forklift Certificate Essential
- Valid Reach Truck License required
- Manual handling Certificate preferred.
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
