Job Title: Baggage Handler/Ramp AgentJob Type: Part-time, Permanent (30 Hours per week) Split Shift requirement. Some full-time positions available during the summer months
Salary: €13.50 per hour (all inclusive). Split Shift Allowance of €17.50 per split shift day worked.

Join our vibrant Ramp Department at Shannon Airport as an Aircraft Service Agent! We are looking for individuals passionate about aviation and dedicated to delivering exceptional service. As an Aircraft Service Agent, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft services, including baggage handling and loading/unloading procedures.
Requirements- Full Clean Driving Licence, Category B.
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
- Successful completion of a 5-year security background check and Garda Vetting process.
- Eligibility to live and work in the E.U.
- Proficient written and verbal English language skills.
- Willingness to work a variety of shift duties in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation.
- Adherence to SHP grooming & uniform standards.
Main Tasks:
- Collaborate with the Head Loader and assigned crew to ensure on-time departure and compliance with airline procedures.
- Perform duties in adherence to comprehensive training, safety, and security protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery of baggage to assigned flights.
- Safely load and unload baggage from aircraft holds according to instructions.
- Conduct visual inspections of equipment and report faults to the Head Loader.
- Notify the Head Loader of any issues encountered during flights.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Ability to perform repetitive Manual Handling duties.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts and remain composed under pressure.
- Team player with excellent punctuality and attendance.
Contract: Part-time, permanent role with a 6-month probation period.
Hours: Contracted part-time hours of at least 30 hours per week. Additional hours may be required based on operational needs. You may be requested to work a split shift
Pay: Starting rate of €13.50 per hour (all inclusive), paid quarterly. Split Shift Allowance of €17.50 per split shift day worked.
Licence/Certification:
- Full EU Driver's Licence (required)
- Airport Permit (preferred)
