Production Planner New
CPL Limerick
Main Duties:
- Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company’s manufactured products
- Liaise with production supervisors to ensure schedule is suitable
- Evaluate raw materials stock to ensure everything is in place for production
- Pass on lead times and scheduled collection dates for orders to the sales/customer service team
- Report on the status of scheduled production
- Handle production disruptions and productivity problems
- Use market forecasts to anticipate necessary production changes
- Co-ordinate cycle counts and reconciling counts when necessary
Essential Criteria:
- BSc in Supply Chain, Production Planning or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a similar role.
- At least 2 years’ experience using and ERP/MRP system
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
- Excellent team player and multi-tasker.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- A high level of attention to detail.
Desirable Criteria:
- SAP experience
