Junior IT Field Engineer - Tipperary, Waterford, Kilkenny
I am working with a highly engaged Technical Director as he looks to fill this urgent and critical role for a Junior IT Field Engineer within the professional service team.
Skills & Experience- 1+ years in network/server support and installations.
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, network services, and security.
- Familiar with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, RDP.
- Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V & VMware vSphere/ESXi experience.
- Firewall experience (Fortinet or similar) desirable.
- Exposure to wireless network implementation beneficial.
- Strong Microsoft application skills and IT literacy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving ability.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
