PE Global Healthcare is recruiting for a Senior Speech and Language Therapist in an acute setting in Dublin. This is a full-time permanent role.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

The Neurology Speech & Language Therapy service covers inpatients with a diverse range of progressive and acute neurological conditions who are under the care of the hospitals Neurologists.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE required

Note: All essential requirements as set out below must be clearly demonstrated on the CV to be shortlisted.

Essential:

 Be registered as a Speech and Language Therapist with CORU, the professional body for regulating Health & Social Care Professionals in Ireland

 Minimum of 3 years full-time (or an aggregate of 3 years full-time) post qualification clinical experience for the offer of a senior contract. Candidates with 2.5 years post qualification clinical experience are eligible to apply with a view to forming a panel.

 Satisfactory recent proven working experience in the care of people with progressive and acute neurological conditions.

 Evidence of full and independent competence in the management of adult eating, drinking and swallowing disorders.

 Full post-graduate competence in adult video fluoroscopy and/or FEES interpretation and reporting.

 Recent evidence of continuing professional development relevant to Neurology

 Evidence of relevant service development/quality improvement experience.
