Senior Construction Manager

A top Irish biopharmaceutical firm seeks a contract Senior Construction Manager (12 months) to lead construction across capital/expense projects in manufacturing, labs, and utilities in a regulated environment.
Reports to Projects Programme Manager, managing multiple projects with focus on safety, schedule, quality, budget, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead safe construction delivery, site logistics, contractor management, and coordination with operations/EHS/QA teams.
- Drive safety compliance (Irish regs, GEP, safety plans, walks/toolbox talks).
- Handle project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, risk mitigation, constructability reviews, procurement, and change control.
- Oversee contractors/subcontractors, lead meetings, mentor team, and support commissioning/handover with compliant documentation.
- Degree in Construction Management/Engineering.
- 8+ years as Construction Manager/Senior Engineer in Irish pharma/biotech/advanced manufacturing.
- Expertise in Irish construction regs, PSDP/PSCS, EHS, scheduling, logistics, team leadership.
- Strong communication/decision-making.
