Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for manufacturing processes as required.
Minimise Manufacturing Downtime by been proactive in terms of Preventative Maintenance of Tooling/Mandrels and Moulds used in the Manufacturing Process.
Work Closely with Planning and Shift team leader to minimise Down time on shift of Responsibility.
Ensure that work instructions, etc are maintained as per Quality System.
Ensure that all work is carried out according to company procedures, and that a high level of productivity and quality is achieved and maintained.
Know the manufacturing process in great detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff if/when they are not able to correct the problem.
Monitor and check the product quality and identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it.
Keep equipment in good working order by performing regular inspection, cleaning, servicing along with routine and preventative maintenance to make sure the machine or process never breaks down.
Ensure strict compliance with all plant health and safety policies, including detailed incident and accident reporting.

Other duties may be assigned on discretionary basis as required by new developments or changes to the role.

Ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
