Process Technician

• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes as required.
• Minimise Manufacturing Downtime by been proactive in terms of Preventative Maintenance of Tooling/Mandrels and Moulds used in the Manufacturing Process.
• Work Closely with Planning and Shift team leader to minimise Down time on shift of Responsibility.
• Ensure that work instructions, etc are maintained as per Quality System.
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to company procedures, and that a high level of productivity and quality is achieved and maintained.
• Know the manufacturing process in great detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff if/when they are not able to correct the problem.
• Monitor and check the product quality and identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct it.
• Keep equipment in good working order by performing regular inspection, cleaning, servicing along with routine and preventative maintenance to make sure the machine or process never breaks down.
• Ensure strict compliance with all plant health and safety policies, including detailed incident and accident reporting.
• Other duties may be assigned on discretionary basis as required by new developments or changes to the role.

• Hard working, motivated, flexible & ability to work well in a busy environment.
• Ability to work overtime/ weekends when needed.
• Ability to communicate in English language
