Senior NPI Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and direction for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring the successful integration of new products into the plant's existing manufacturing processes.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives and product/process development to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the development and execution of strategic engineering plans that align with the organisations overall objectives and future growth.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of problem-solving and professional growth within the team.
- Support key internal automation initiatives in collaboration with other departments and manufacturing engineers to optimize plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable quality, regulatory, and safety standards, and actively participate in audits and continuous improvement of compliance systems.
- Assist in managing capital expenditures, including tracking, reporting, and forecasting project budgets as required.
- Drive changes and continuous improvement in site engineering systems and procedures to support operational excellence.
- Participate in managing Key Cost to Win programs, ensuring timely and effective project implementation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support the success of the team and organisation.
- Minimum BSc, preferable MSc.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' engineering experience, including direct involvement in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, integrating new products into existing manufacturing processes and driving successful launches.
- Project Management Experience preferable.
- Lean Six Sigma Qualifications preferable.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes in high-demand NPI environments, especially when managing limited resources and tight timelines.
- Proven track record as an agile learner, quickly adapting to new technologies and evolving NPI requirements; recognized for excellent interpersonal skills and consistently delivering measurable results in NPI initiatives.
