About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global organisation within the medical technology sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electro-mechanical products that directly impact healthcare delivery worldwide.

You will play a key role in the design and development of complex medical devices, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards for electro-mechanical products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineering
  • Support project planning, timelines, and budget coordination
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, FDA)
  • Conduct testing related to EMI, safety, and manufacturability
  • Perform root cause analysis on product or component failures and document findings
  • Develop technical documentation including specifications, test protocols, and reports
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure robustness, reliability, and safety
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics engineering or a similar role
  • Strong background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Experience in product development within a regulated industry is highly desirable (medical devices preferred)
  • Knowledge of EMC testing and requirements documentation is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
