About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global organisation within the medical technology sector, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative electro-mechanical products that directly impact healthcare delivery worldwide.
You will play a key role in the design and development of complex medical devices, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialisation.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards for electro-mechanical products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, systems, and quality engineering
- Support project planning, timelines, and budget coordination
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, IEC, FDA)
- Conduct testing related to EMI, safety, and manufacturability
- Perform root cause analysis on product or component failures and document findings
- Develop technical documentation including specifications, test protocols, and reports
- Participate in design reviews to ensure robustness, reliability, and safety
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in electronics engineering or a similar role
- Strong background in analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
- Experience in product development within a regulated industry is highly desirable (medical devices preferred)
- Knowledge of EMC testing and requirements documentation is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
