Location: Co. CavanSalary: €55,000 – €65,000, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent – open to Full-Time or Part-time
We are currently partnering with a leading global organisation to recruit a Share Plans Controller for a permanent position based in Co. Cavan. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in the administration and governance of global and local employee share plans.
As part of the Company Secretarial and Governance team, you will report to the Assistant Company Secretary and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence across a broad range of equity-based incentive schemes.
Responsibilities of the Share Plans Controller:
Administer global and local share plans, including APSS, PSPs, PSUs, and DBSs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and governance standardsMaintain and update employee records within the share plan platform
Manage share plan transactions such as grants, exercises, vesting, and releases in a timely and accurate manner
Monitor and track key dates for grant cycles, vesting schedules, reporting obligations, and plan expiries
Respond to employee queries and provide clear and consistent support around share plan participation
Produce reports and analysis related to share plan activity, including participation rates and transaction summaries
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Tax, and Finance teams, as well as with external brokers, trustees, and platform providers
Participate in internal and external audits to ensure data integrity and control
The Ideal Share Plans Controller:
Minimum 3 years of experience in share plan administrationFamiliar with employee equity plans such as APSS and share options
Experience working with share plan platforms such as EquatePlus, Equiniti, or Global Shares is essential
Degree in business, law, or a related field is an advantage
Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Discreet and professional approach to handling sensitive information
