Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data & Analytics Consultant to act as the bridge between SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, and data & analytics teams. This role is focused on understanding end-to-end SAP business processes, translating reporting requirements into analytics-ready data models, and ensuring data is structured correctly to support scalable reporting and insights.

The successful candidate will combine strong SAP functional knowledge with a deep understanding of SAP data structures and reporting requirements. They will be comfortable working across both business and technical teams to ensure data solutions accurately reflect SAP processes.

• Understand and document end-to-end SAP business processes, including areas such as Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R).
• Map SAP business processes to the underlying data structures and identify key data relationships across modules.
• Define and document SAP tables, joins, data lineage, and data flows required for reporting and analytics.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into analytics-ready datasets.
• Partner with data engineering and BI teams to design data models that support reporting and self-service analytics.
• Validate report logic, KPIs, and metrics to ensure alignment with SAP business processes and source system data.
• Support data quality, reconciliation, and governance activities across SAP reporting initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between SAP SMEs, business users, data teams, and reporting stakeholders.

• Strong experience working with SAP functional modules such as FI/CO, SD, MM, or related areas.
• Deep understanding of SAP data structures, table relationships, and document flows.
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or business intelligence solutions using SAP data.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling concepts including fact and dimension modelling, joins, hierarchies, and data relationships.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working across both functional and technical teams.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and CDS Views.
• Exposure to SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and cloud analytics environments.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data pipelines.
• Experience supporting Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

• SAP Consultant with a strong background in data, reporting, and analytics.
• Able to explain SAP business processes in both functional and data terms.
• Comfortable working between SAP functional teams, data engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand how business requirements translate into data models and reporting solutions.
• Capable of operating in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and data sources.
