Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is a community employment role and one must be eligible for a CE role in order to be considered for the role.
The role is a dual role of Administrator and Outreach worker based in the Mná Feasa: Domestic Violence Project.The hours are 19.5 hours a week and are flexible to a degree, the role cannot be carried out remotely and the hours must be carried out during office hours whilst management are there.
The administrative aspect of the role involves the following: You will be required to do administration regarding contacting volunteers
Doing up volunteer’s rostersSupporting our clients in filling out forms.
Booking in clients in for One to One sessions
You will be meeting and greeting clients at the door
You will be answering office phone and taking messages
Ordering stationery and supplies for the office
Use of a pc will form part of your duties.
Outreach work - The outreach work involves the following but not is not limited to the outlined.
You will accompany a member of staff or a volunteer to do outreach work in Supermarkets to raise awareness about Mná Feasa Project.You will also be required to do Postal outreach sending posters out to different organisations.
You will be supported by the Team Leader and staff to do the above work.Training will be provided on the above tasks.
