Job Introduction

Facilities Assistant / Operative
MTU Cork, T12

€14.63 per hour

39 hours per week

Full-Time, Permanent

Working hours:
Various shifts falling between:
Monday to Friday: 7.30am to 10.00pm

Saturday: 8.00am to 6.00pm

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out cleaning and facilities duties across campus buildings and outdoor areas
Support event setups, furniture moves, and routine maintenance tasks
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
Use cleaning materials and equipment safely, following all relevant guidelines

Report maintenance or safety issues as required

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar facilities or cleaning role is desirable
Flexible approach to shift patterns and work tasks
Good communication skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
