Service Manager – Under 18s Residential Service (Clonmel, Tipperary)
CPL in association with their client, a leading homeless and youth residential service in Ireland, is seeking a Service Manager for its Under 18’s Residential Service in Clonmel.
This is a full-time (39 hours, Monday–Friday), specific purpose contract supporting young people aged 15–17 in a short-term residential setting.
The service provides trauma-informed care including key working, care planning, advocacy, behavioural support, and interagency collaboration.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team (13 Social Care Workers, 2 Team Leaders, 1 Deputy Manager), ensuring safe, high-quality, and compliant service delivery.
Salary: €61,228 – €65,937
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in Social Care or related discipline (Level 7/8 minimum)
- Significant experience in a social care/residential setting (adolescent or homeless services preferred)
- Previous management or senior leadership experience in a residential service
- Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and relevant legislation/standards
- Experience in staff supervision, rostering, and service governance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Full clean driving licence desirable
