The role
We are seeking professionals with a strong Data Architecture background, ideally those currently working as Data Architects but with a solid foundation in Data Engineering and the ability to perform low-level tasks (e.g., SQL on Teradata). This role requires someone who remains hands-on with Teradata to a certain extent.
We are also open to candidates who have transitioned from Data Engineering Lead roles into Data Architecture and may have only a few years of experience as Data Architects.
Candidates should be comfortable performing some hands-on work (approximately 20–40%) while demonstrating expertise in Teradata, financial services data models, and ETL tools such as Informatica.
Important Note:
This role does require a level of hands-on work, so candidates must be prepared for this. It is a key requirement for the position.
Minimum Experience- 5+ years as a Data Architect
- Teradata – Must be highly proficient, including the ability to run queries and perform low-level work when required.
- Teradata Financial Services Data Model – Mandatory.
- Teradata GCFR Framework – Added advantage.
- ETL Tools – Knowledge of Informatica and DataStage is a plus.
- Medallion Data Architecture – Required.
- Data Analysis & Data Modelling – Strong understanding.
- Data Engineering Background – Solid experience from previous roles.
- Control-M – Must have or at least working knowledge.
- Teradata – Must have (hands-on capability).
