Microsoft Solution Architect, Dynamics 365 Sales (contract)
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to help deliver a number of strategic projects, including continuous improvement initiatives and business transformation programs. This role will be responsible for delivering solution architectures that ensure seamless connectivity between numerous applications, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, and other enterprise systems using IBM WebMethods Integration Services and IBM WebMethods API Gateway.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to design secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions aligned with the company's enterprise architecture and compliance requirements.
This contract is a minimum 6 months terms fixed term contact with a hybrid working arrangement. (2 days a week in Dublin 12).
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver solution architectures for strategic projects.
- Develop high- and low-level designs for integrations between Core systems, MS Dynamics 365 Sales, and other systems using IBM WebMethods tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with enterprise architecture and integration standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and business transformation programs.
- Present solution designs to the company's Design Authority and ensure compliance with security, digital operational resilience, and regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for optimisation and drive best practices within the architecture team
Requirements
Experience & Skills Required- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years as a Solution Architect.
- Prior experience of integration architectures (including REST API), Kubernetes & Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (essential)
- Experience in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud), ideally with Azure and M365.
- Familiarity with architecture governance, patterns, and IT standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across technical and business domains.
- Insurance industry experience is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, IASA).
- Technical certifications in MS Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft 365 are useful.
