A strong opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant or Assistant Accountant to support a leading

FMCG name based in Lucan.

Initial 3 month contract / Hybrid arrangements -3 days onsite / 40K- 50K pro rata

The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Accountant in all areas of financial reporting

activities

Responsibilities:

Support the preparation of quarterly & monthly management accounts for a number of sites

in accordance with tight deadlines

Responsible for period end routines and journal entries across multiple sites
Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and Group Reporting
Weekly cash office controls
Revenue return preparation & submission in accordance with Revenue deadlines
CSO reporting
Complete interim & year end audits in accordance with tight deadlines acting as a point of

contact for auditor queries

Identify and assess risks and inefficiency throughout the business
Act as a point of contact for store queries

Person Specification & Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years accounting experience
Strong knowledge on debits and credits and experience supporting month end
Part Qualified Accountant e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA or relevant experience
Ambitious self-starter with positive attitude, committed to pursuing a career in accountancy

and a desire to progress within the organisation

Attention to detail with strong financial and analytical skills
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines
Strong communication skills will all level of stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially with respect to large data sets
