My client, a reputable and long-established main contractor with a strong presence in Cork and nationwide, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality construction projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set out works according to project drawings, specifications, and engineering standards
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily site engineering activities
- Work closely with the Project Manager and wider site team to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery
- Conduct site surveys, maintain as-built records, and prepare accurate site reports
- Interpret technical drawings, manage materials, and ensure works align with project design requirements
- Liaise with subcontractors, design teams, and client representatives to ensure smooth communication and progress
- Monitor site works to ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and ensure compliance with company procedures
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years’ site-based engineering experience (main contractor experience advantageous)
- Proficient in setting out, surveying, and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and Irish Health & Safety regulations
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Strong IT proficiency (MS Office, CAD, survey equipment)
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work to programme deadlines
- Full clean driving licence essential
