General Warehouse Operative

Supermac’s is currently looking for a Full-time Warehouse operative to assist with all aspects associated with a busy warehouse/distribution centre.

Job Purpose:

This is a summary of expected duties associated with this role, however, additional duties may be added from time to time.

• Picking orders
• Receiving goods from Suppliers
• Taking delivery of goods
• Unload the vehicles with due care and attention
• Checking goods for missing or damaged items
• Unloading goods by hand, with trolleys or forklift trucks
• Stacking goods in the correct place
• Responsibility for all documentation about the movement of goods, associated computer work
• Checking or packing goods that have to be sent out to the Restaurants
• Ensure clean as you go and that areas are kept free of debris and rubbish
• Report all damages/discrepancies to the Supervisor

THE JOB:

• Respond to the requests from the Warehouse Manager.
• Employees must abide by company standards in all aspects of employment.
• Carries out all duties diligently and has a positive impact on quality and cleanliness in the warehouse
• Must be flexible, able to work in all areas, and at short notice
• Must abide by all standards and procedures and ensure others do likewise
• Additional duties may be added or those listed above modified
• Conscious of the safety of self, other colleagues, and customers.
• Shifts scheduled Monday to Sunday, with some weekend availability required.
