HR Administrator – Temporary
Hourly Rate: €13.74 - €16.48 per hourHours: 35 hours per week
Annual Leave: 21 Days
Location: Dublin 9
The HR Administrator is required to carry out the duties attached to the post, under the general direction of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), to whom she/he reports, and to whom he/she is responsible for the performance of these duties in the first instance.The reporting relationship may be subject to periodic review, in line with service needs and developments in the Institute.
Duties and Responsibilities:The duties of this temporary post include the following:
Preparing part-time contracts, role adverts, managing external online adverts as required
Recruitment: acknowledging applications for open roles, reply to job queries, coordinating candidate invites to interview
Onboarding administration including Garda Vetting, staff forms for payroll, maintain records for safeguarding training
Tracking of all recruitment processes and activity in the Department’s Recruitment Tracker
Maintaining accurate records on contract start and end dates etc.
Monitor the HR inbox to support the handling of and responses to staff queries
Support Probation tracking
Essential Qualifications & Skills:(i.e. those, without which, a candidate would not be able to do the job. Applications that have not clearly demonstrated that candidates possess the essential requirements will not be shortlisted):
In order to be considered for this post, applicants will require:
Evidence of strong administration skills in a fast paced working environment (recent Graduate and/or up to 2 years experience)
Demonstrably good coordination and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and evidence of multi-tasking ability
Must be discreet and keep information at their disposal in the strictest confidence
A team player with a flexible, positive attitude towards work
Excellent IT skills and must be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
Ability to work under pressure, to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
Desirable Criteria:
Completed or has made progress towards the completion of a third level qualification in Human Resources Management, CIPD or equivalent
Knowledge of human resource processes and best practice
Working experience of a HR system, e.g. CoreHR
Experience in a HR department
