Role Overview

This role is responsible for leading the delivery of defined workstreams/projects within a large-scale programme, ensuring alignment with the overall programme plan, governance, and delivery objectives.

The Project Manager will operate within a structured programme environment, taking ownership of planning, execution, and delivery at project/workstream level, while supporting the Programme Manager in achieving overall programme outcomes.

The role requires strong delivery capability, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage complex dependencies, testing phases, and transition into live service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned projects/workstreams, from mobilisation through to go-live
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans aligned to the integrated programme plan
  • Track and manage milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities
  • Manage risks, issues, and changes within the workstream
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders
  • Support programme governance through status reporting and progress updates
  • Ensure alignment with testing lifecycle including, FAT, SAT, SIT,
  • Support Operational Readiness Testing (ORT)
  • Support pilot and go-live execution
  • Manage delivery across multiple locations
  • Act as interface between delivery teams and programme leadership
  • Support transition into BAU

Requirements

Project Delivery:

  • Proven experience delivering complex projects within large programmes
  • Ownership of end-to-end project delivery and workstream execution

Planning & Control:

  • Strong capability in Microsoft Project (or equivalent)
  • Experience managing detailed plans and dependencies
  • JIRA

Delivery Lifecycle & Testing:

  • Strong understanding of FAT, SAT, SIT
  • Experience supporting ORT, pilot, and go-live

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Ability to coordinate and escalate effectively

Client & Stakeholder Exposure:

  • Experience in client-facing environments
  • Ability to provide clear updates and manage expectations
