New Business Account Manager working within the motor industry servicing a heavy goods vehicle dealer network

A hybrid account management + business development role focused on:

  • Growing existing client relationships througout a heavy goods dealer network
  • Winning new business
  • Supporting the dealer network in selling vehicles
  • Driving overall business performance alongside the Country Manager

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
  • Build and develop new customer relationships
  • Manage the full sales process
  • Identify gaps in the sales funnel and improve performance
  • Work closely with dealers and sales teams to increase revenue
Strategy & Performance
  • Support development and execution of the business unit strategy
  • Track and contribute to KPIs and sales targets
  • Provide insights, reporting, and projections to leadership
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (dealers, management, external partners)
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Mentor team members and contribute to team performance
Operations & Process Improvement
  • Ensure accurate reporting and system usage
  • Improve processes and support system implementations
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required
  • Background in business development / account management
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements
  • Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
  • Strong leadership exposure (ideally with P&L responsibility)
  • Fluent English
