I am currently recruiting a Trainee Accountant for my client, a leading telecommunications company based in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of accounting functions while working alongside industry experts.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Trainee Accountant, you’ll play an active role in the day-to-day financial operations that keep the business running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts

Working on prepayments, accruals, and reconciliations

Performing daily and monthly gross margin analysis

Supporting cash flow and creditor ledger management

Preparing and submitting claims to manufacturers

Providing financial support across other departments

Liaising with auditors and assisting with year-end processes

Key Requirements:

Relevant 3rd level degree in business / accountancy with a 2:1 grade minimum

Currently studying for a professional accountancy qualification: ACCA, CIMA

Proficiency in MS Excel

Excellent communication both verbal and written
