We are looking for a fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin) speaker to play a pivotal role in our client development team.

Key Responsibilities
Bilingual Client & Stakeholder Relations (PR Focus):
Act as the primary point of contact for existing Chinese-speaking clients, handling inquiries, providing updates, and building strong, long-term relationships.
Liaise with China-based suppliers, partners, and legal/compliance bodies, ensuring smooth communication and mutual understanding.
Translate and interpret documents, emails, and conversations between English and Chinese to support various departments.
Plan and coordinate client engagement events, webinars, and meetings to foster community and strengthen client relationships.
Uphold the company's reputation and ensure all client interactions are conducted with the highest level of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
Client Data Analysis & Development (Marketing Focus):
Analyse and segment the existing customer database to identify trends, client needs, and potential for cross-selling or up-selling financial products.
Use data-driven insights to contribute to the development of targeted marketing campaigns and client retention strategies for the Chinese market.
Support the development of new client acquisition strategies based on your analysis of the current client base and market knowledge.
Assist in creating marketing materials and client communications in both English and Chinese.
Financial & Administrative Support:
Apply a fundamental understanding of financial products and services to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the company's CRM system.

Support the compliance team by ensuring client communications and documentation meet regulatory standards in both jurisdictions.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Essential Requirements: Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written) is non-negotiable.

Proven experience in a client-facing role (e.g., Customer Service, PR, Account Management, Sales).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and generate actionable insights.
A solid understanding of basic financial principles and a strong interest in the finance industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural talent for building rapport.
Cultural awareness of both European and Chinese business practices.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis) and experience with CRM systems.

Desirable Qualities: Previous experience working in a financial services environment.

Experience in planning and managing corporate events or client functions.
A Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience will be strongly considered.
Experience in a marketing or business development support role.
