Senior Accountant - Kilkenny

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our client on a contract basis for an initial 16 month period. This is a key leadership role reporting to the General Manager and responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across departments
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage cash flow and optimise working capital
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Supervise and mentor finance team members
• Drive process improvements and implement financial technology solutions

Qualifications & Skills:

• ACCA, CPA, or CIMA Qualification
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Ability to communicate and present financial accounts and analysis to all levels of stakeholders
• Proven leadership experience in a finance function
