Site Quality Manager – Dublin 15
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Quality Manager to join our team in Dublin and drive site quality to new heights. Manufacturing (ideally Hardware or Electronics) background essential.
Role:
The Quality Manager drives continuous improvement through the development and implementation of Quality processes, systems, tools and techniques; provides exceptional support to customers, team members, and shareholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety First. Always. - Adhere to all safety rules and use required protective equipment.
- Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and policies to ensure that products or services meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Foster a culture of right-first-time manufacturing on the site.
- Monitor and analyze data related to quality control processes, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Perform ISO audits of quality control processes, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for corrective action.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure that raw materials and components meet established quality standards.
- Manage and maintain quality control documentation, ensuring that all necessary records and reports are accurate and up-to-date.
- Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes.
- Oversee all new product development procedures with a view to becoming ‘’best in field’’ for customer.
- Support Site and Managers in implementing and improving procedures and processes to ensure required work standards are met and adhered to.
- Participate in risk assessments and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen quality challenges.
- Actively participate in Lean project rollouts for continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
- Understand and drive regulatory and compliance certifications as appropriate (i.e. regulatory requirements surrounding ISO9000, ISO14000 etc.). Act as the company’s quality management representative (QMR).
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years quality management experience, preferably in manufacturing, ideally electronic/hardware manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience of quality management from cradle to grave of a product/service.
- Ability to drive a culture of continuous improvement & operational excellence.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
