The participant will gain practical experience in

are you passionate about food and coffee. we are offering a 6 month placement in a busy welcoming art gallery cafe. Perfect for anyone looking to gain real experience in the hospitality industry we will provide Barista training,: you will be trained how to use a commercial espresso machine, make espresso-based drinks, and Coffee presentation and hygiene standards.

You will also receive training in Kitchen skills: Safe food handling and hygiene (HACCP practices), Basic food prep and plating
Stock control and kitchen cleaning procedures, Customer service: Taking orders and handling payments

Communicating with customers professionally , day to day operations in a friendly team focused environment. You’ll receive on-the-job training, daily support from experienced staff to help you build confidence and valuable hospitality skills.

POS-Learn how to confidently operate a Point of Sale (POS) system with our hands-on training.
Taking orders and communicating efficiently
Processing payments (cash, card, digital)
Handling discounts, refunds, and receipts
Opening and closing the till

Order flow & communication with baristas/kitchen
