Are you a skilled Metal Fabricator ready to take the next step in your career? Due to continued expansion, my client are seeking a talented and experienced Fabricator to join their team in Cavan.

Join a well-established engineering company providing full-service solutions in design, precision engineering, fabrication, installation, and maintenance to clients across Ireland.

This is a hands-on Working Team Lead position. You’ll lead by example on the workshop floor, fabricating high-spec metal components and supervising a skilled team.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading the fabrication team and overseeing daily operations
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
• Fabricating and assembling steel and metal structures
• Operating machinery: press brakes, rollers, guillotines, etc.
• Welding using MIG, TIG, and Arc processes
• Ensuring quality control and accurate completion of job cards
• Enforcing health and safety standards
• Supporting Lean operations and continuous improvement

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in metal fabrication
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong skills in MIG & TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• A proactive, safety-first mindset

• 40-hour work week:
• Monday–Thursday: 07:00–16:00
• Friday: 07:00–14:30 (early finish!)
