Area Sales Manager (HVAC)
Our client is a leading provider of Air Handling Units (AHU) and heating/cooling solutions for commercial projects. They are committed to delivering high-quality HVAC products and exceptional customer service across the region.
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of AHU and heating/cooling solutions across the designated territory (North of Dublin to Sligo). This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and achieving sales targets in the commercial sector.
Location: North of Dublin to Sligo (Field Based)Salary: DOE
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:Identify and engage with potential clients, including contractors, consultants, and project managers within the commercial sector.
Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Conduct site visits and client meetings to present product solutions and understand customer requirements.
Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Manage a pipeline of active opportunities and ensure timely follow-up on all sales leads.Technical Expertise:
Provide clients with technical guidance on AHU and heating/cooling solutions, ensuring product suitability for specific projects.
Work closely with the technical team to design customized solutions for client projects.
Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and customer activity records.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Technical Background (preferred).Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the HVAC or building services industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a field-based role.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Air Handling Units (AHU), heating, and cooling solutions for commercial applications.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Other Requirements:
Full, clean driving license.Willingness to travel across the designated territory (North of Dublin to Sligo).
