Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CE Supervisor for our Community Employment (CE) Drug Rehabilitation Programme in Tiglin’s Aftercare located in Greystones. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the CE Drug Rehab Framework (2015), the National Drugs Strategy (2017–2025), and the NDRIC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Administration:
  • Manage payroll, claims, and ensure compliance with DSP financial procedures.
  • Liaise with the DSP, Local/Regional Drug and Alcohol Task Forces, and related recovery services.
  • Maintain up-to-date participant records and ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Ensure adherence to all monitoring requirements related to finance, training, and program delivery.
  • Use the Welfare Partners system and ECASS effectively.
Participant Training & Development:
  • Develop and maintain Individual Learner Plans (ILPs) in line with participants’ care plans.
  • Coordinate training activities, work placements, and job-seeking efforts.
  • Track and report on each participant’s progress and outcomes.
Human Resource Management:
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and contracts for all participants.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-to-one reviews, and career planning sessions.
  • Address disciplinary matters and ensure structured exit plans, including eternal after-care supports.
Scheme Management:
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supervise day-to-day participant activities and placements in accordance with the CE programme goals.
  • Ensure all financial and programme operations meet CE scheme guidelines.
Progression Support:
  • Meet progression targets by supporting job search and employment pathways.
  • Develop strong partnerships with local employers and training providers to enhance opportunities for participants.

Candidate Profile

Essential:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or people management role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Competence in areas such as Business, Financial Administration, or Interpersonal Communication.
Desirable:
  • Third-level qualification (NFQ Level 6 or above).
  • Experience in café management or hospitality supervision, including scheduling, stock control, and customer service.
