Data Labeling Analyst II (IC3) (Gulf Focus | Arabic Speaker)

This team safeguards billions of users from harmful content, malicious actors, and emerging threats by combining advanced technology, human expertise, and cross-functional collaboration.

As a Data Labeling Analyst, you will operate at the forefront of real-time crisis management and proactive risk detection, with a specialized focus on Gulf markets. You will play a key role in identifying, investigating, and mitigating risks while contributing to a safer and more trusted online environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert in interpreting and enforcing platform policies, including Community Standards, Ads, and Commerce policies
  • Investigate and resolve high-risk escalations across content types (organic, ads, commerce), including sensitive and objectionable material
  • Monitor regional content trends (Gulf markets) to proactively identify emerging risks and threats
  • Utilize Boolean search techniques and internal tools to surface patterns, detect violations, and uncover risk signals
  • Respond to real-time crises, elections, and high-priority incidents with speed and accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Policy, Legal, Product, Engineering, and Public Policy
  • Generate insights from data analysis to improve workflows, escalation processes, and policy enforcement
  • Partner with vendor teams to meet operational KPIs and scale effective solutions
  • Act as a market ambassador, bringing deep cultural, linguistic, and geopolitical awareness into decision-making
  • Participate in a 24/7 operational model, including on-call rotations if required
Required Qualifications
  • Fluency in Arabic (mandatory), with strong preference for Gulf dialect expertise
  • Lived experience in Gulf countries with deep understanding of regional culture, politics, and online behavior
  • 2-5+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Risk Operations, or similar fields (e.g., tech, consulting, operations)
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar
  • Demonstrated ability to use Boolean search strings for investigations, trend analysis, and signal detection
  • Experience handling sensitive or graphic content in a professional environment
  • Ability to make quick, high-quality decisions under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Multinational companies
  • Background in Trust & Safety, policy enforcement, or data analytics
  • Familiarity with AI-driven moderation or investigation tools
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Policy, or related fields (not mandatory)
