Our client in West Cork is looking to employ a Solidworks Draftsperson. The right person will possess good technical knowledge of things like Sheet metal, Structures, Piping, Flanges and be able to produce design and fabrication drawings based given details.
Main Duties: Liaise with engineers / main contractor.
Provide 2D/3D CAD Drawings.Produce layout drawings to be issued for approval.Produce fabrication drawings.
Prepare Material list for procurement.
Experience: Knowledge of steelworks & metalworks industry would be an advantage.
Knowledge of steel detailing in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel or Solidworks preferablePossess good technical knowledge of things like Sheet metal, Structures, Piping, Flanges
Work to agreed programme of works and meet strict deadlines.
Efficient time management skills.
Have the ability to work well in a team environment.
