Senior Business Analyst – Operational Transformation

Cpl are recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale operational transformation programme.

This opportunity would suit a Business Analyst with strong experience in operational transformation, process improvement, enterprise systems implementation, and stakeholder engagement within infrastructure, utilities, engineering, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries.

• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to analyse and document current-state business processes
• Identify process inefficiencies, operational pain points, and improvement opportunities
• Design and document future-state operational processes and workflows
• Develop process maps, procedures, work instructions, and supporting documentation
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
• Support systems implementation, testing, deployment, and process adoption activities
• Work closely with technical and operational stakeholders to ensure successful delivery outcomes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and monitor process effectiveness post-implementation
• Assist with KPI development, reporting frameworks, and operational performance tracking
• Develop and deliver user training materials and stakeholder guidance documentation
• Contribute to change management and user adoption activities across the programme

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Operational Transformation role
• Strong experience in:
• Business process mapping and optimisation
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement
• Systems implementation and testing
• Change management and user training
• Experience working within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing, pharma, or other asset-intensive environments is highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation capability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment
• Experience working across multidisciplinary operational and technical teams

Desirable Experience

Experience with enterprise asset management, operational systems, maintenance systems, or asset information environments would be advantageous.
