Role Overview

We are currently looking for experience and motivated sales professionals within the hospitality sector to join a luxury hotel as a Hotel Sales Manager in Dun Laoghaire. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning the hotel within both the local and broader market, achieving agreed sales targets, and supporting long-term business objectives.

Location: Dun Laoghaire

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local corporate and conference markets.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, with responsibility for their growth and revenue performance.
• Conduct market research to monitor competitor strategies across transient and group segments.
• Perform competitor analysis, including rate benchmarking, offerings, and key account activities.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships while actively networking to secure new business both domestically and internationally.
• Track and analyse lost or declined business opportunities to inform future strategy.
• Carry out a range of sales activities, including:
• Sales trips and client appointments
• Telesales outreach
• Site inspections
• Corporate hospitality events
• Familiarisation trips
• Trade show attendance

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel sales role.
• Full, clean driver’s licence with access to own transport.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and professional approach.
• Experience in setting and managing annual sales budgets.
