Receptionist
Dublin is home to a number of international law firms, one of the most established of which is now seeking a Legal Receptionist to join their friendly, high-performing team based in Dublin 4. As the first point of contact for staff and clients, you will play a vital role in setting the tone in the Irish branch of this professional and collegiate organisation working with teams across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Hours: 9am to 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)Location: Dublin 4, Fully On-Site
What do you need?
To succeed in this role, it is preferred that candidates have all or most of the following attributes: 2 years’ experience in a busy reception or customer facing office assistant role
A positive attitude with demonstrably excellent verbal and written communication skills.Be able to indicate examples of times you have taken initiative
Excellent office computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Ability to demonstrate prioritization and multi-taking abilities.
What’s Involved?
As a Legal Receptionist, you can expect to be involved in: Front of House
Managing access for visitors, creating a welcoming and professional environment for all building usersResponding promptly to incoming calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, coordinating with couriers and internal recipients.
Maintain the general working environment, liaising where necessary with office management company
Assist with innovations in working practices including efforts towards more sustainable working, while ensuring observation of health and safety requirements.
Administration
Maintain records on office equipment and the relevant suppliers, ensuring to order any necessary supplies ahead of time.Track financial records including office expenses and statements, in collaboration with the finance team.
Support colleagues in the Ogier Global teamEnsure confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Meeting and Transport Coordination
Scheduling meetings and organising conference rooms including any catering requirements.Booking transport, accommodation and restaurants where required.
