Corporate Communications & Public Policy – Public Policy Manager IV -12 Month Contract
Location: Dublin 4 /OnsiteSalary: €114
CPL are recruiting for a Public Policy Manager IV to join a high-impact Corporate Communications & Public Policy function within a leading technology environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing policy escalations, and advising senior leadership on complex content and public policy issues.You will be primarily responsible for coordinating and drafting responses to regulatory obligations to ensure content compliance. You will also manage escalations by coordinating cross-functional responses to content decisions that consider local regulatory requirements, international human rights obligations, and product and operational considerations.
You will be required to assess risk, provide effective policy advice to leadership, and make decisions under pressure.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate efforts to respond to regulatory obligations across the Content Policy organisation
- Draft responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to content policies and compliance strategy
- Support the development and delivery of regulatory Transparency Reports
- Manage regulatory escalations relating to freedom of expression
- Build strong working relationships with internal partners, including Governance, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Public Policy, Human Rights Policy, Content Policy, Communications, and Trust & Safety teams
- Act as an escalation point of contact and manage internal communications for policy issues, including participation in on-call rotations within the relevant timezone (with potential for irregular hours)

Minimum Qualifications- 6+ years’ experience in tech policy, law, integrity compliance, human rights, government, or risk management, with a focus on platforms and technology
- Experience working on internet and social media content issues
- Strong understanding of platform content policies, standards, and enforcement frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Proven experience working cross-functionally and building consensus
- Strong understanding of large-scale digital platforms and their guiding principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
