Overview
Our client, a rapidly scaling beauty and consumer brand, is seeking a Senior National Account Manager to play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance across key retail partnerships.
This is a strategic, high-visibility role suited to an experienced account leader who can operate at both hands-on and strategic levels, influencing growth across premium, mass, and omnichannel retail environments.
The Role
As a senior member of the commercial function, you will take full ownership of national retail accounts, shaping long-term partnerships and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
You will act as a trusted advisor to key retail partners, while internally influencing cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional execution across product launches, category growth, and retail activation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and evolve strategic relationships with major retail partners across beauty and FMCG
- Own the delivery of revenue, margin, and market share targets at a national level
- Develop and implement long-term account strategies and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
- Drive category growth initiatives, leveraging consumer insights and market trends
- Influence and negotiate at senior buyer level across trade terms, pricing, and promotional plans
- Partner with Marketing to deliver best-in-class brand activation and retail excellence
- Provide leadership in forecasting, pipeline visibility, and commercial planning
- Act as a key contributor to wider commercial strategy and business growth initiatives
- Significant experience in National / Senior Account Management within beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG retail
- Proven ability to manage and grow high-value retail partnerships
- Proven experience with Tesco, Dunnes and all the major retailers.
- Strong understanding of beauty retail dynamics, including in-store and e-commerce channels
- Commercially astute with experience managing P&L, forecasting, and trade investment
- Confident operating with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
- Experience within a high-growth or entrepreneurial brand environment is highly advantageous
- High-impact role with ownership of key national accounts
