Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Key Responsibilities: Support worker for Rossinver Historical Society
Marketing-liaising with regional/national, local community networks and County CouncilFunding applications and grant writing
Liaising with other tourism providers in the area
Giving talks, tours and presentations to the public to inform them about local heritage
Leading various learning and participation events and activitiesDealing with enquiries from the public
Developing a Heritage Archive
Developing conservation policies and guidelines
Applicants should possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A highly professional approach to dealing with the publicAn interest in Heritage and Conservation
A meticulous approach to tasks with good attention to detail
Excellent standard of written English
Be flexible of working days / hours
Interested in promoting tourism in the area.
