I am currently partnering with a client of mine to recruit a Data Analyst to support their Finance and Trading teams.
This is an excellent career-accelerator for a junior-to-mid-level analyst to step out of backroom IT operations and gain deep commercial strategy experience.- Role Overview:
- Position: Data Analyst / Commercial Analyst
- Location: Cork - Hybrid Options Available
- Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Transformation: Extract complex operational data and transform it into clear, value-adding strategic insights.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Deliver robust reporting across product performance, range compliance, and ad-hoc commercial queries.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed store performance and comparison analysis to identify sales opportunities and maximize margin returns.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally to present analytical findings and recommendations to internal teams.
Technical Requirements:
- The Tech: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data modeling and dashboarding.
- Analytical Mindset: A logical, inquisitive brain with high attention to detail and a passion for turning numbers into actionable stories.
- Communication: Proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, plain language for business stakeholders.
- Background: A degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Finance, paired with 1-3 years of hands-on data reporting experience.
